Terms & Conditions

Thank you for your interest in Sweet Juanjo’s!

When receiving an accepted order, the ordering party agrees to these terms and conditions.

The terms and conditions are subject to change without notice. Individuals ordering from sweet Juanjo’s will be referred to as “ordering party” in this document.

Payments

All payments are due at or before pick up/delivery. For orders over $300.00, payment is due in full at the time of ordering or one month prior to the event. Failure to complete payment at the designated time may result in release of booking date and or loss of ordered product.

Product and Product Fee Changes

Fees and products are subject to change based on market prices and Sweet Juanjo’s discression. Final fees and products will be discussed and provided on a final communication/ invoice.

Order Changes and Cancellations

Once an order has been submitted and accepted, any requested changes will be considered but may not be guaranteed. Any accepted order changes may be subject to additional fees.

Cancellation of an order or partial order by the ordering party will be evaluated for refunds on an individual basis. Refunds for order cancellations are not guaranteed.

Refunds may be issued for any cancellations made by Sweet Juanjo’s.

Additional Fees

Additional fees may be applied for rush orders, customization, Special handling, delivery, special delivery requests, event set up, additional fees will vary depending on custom order requests.

Pickup and Delivery

Once an order has been delivered or the ordering party has picked up the order, Sweet Juanjo’s is no longer responsible for any damages that may occur. This includes but not limited to transportation damage, addition of toxic toppers/decorations that change toxicity, appearance or taste, poor storage/display environment, changes in temperature, environment, damage caused by an event guest, third party vendor, or venue staff member

Pick up and delivery times will be discussed and defined by Sweet Juanjo’s and the ordering party.

If the ordering party is more than 45 minutes late for their scheduled pick up time, it may result in loss of ordered product or additional fees.

If a venue is not open at the scheduled delivery time, or dessert display area is not prepared for delivery, it may result in loss of ordered product, forfeit of set up service, or additional fees. Additional delivery attempts may not be available.

Storage and Display Environment

It is the responsibility of the ordering party to provide a suitable and safe environment for the desserts. The display area should be non-toxic and food safe with a secure table or display base.

It is suggested to display desserts in a room with a controlled temperature below 74 degrees Fahrenheit. Direct Sunlight or inclimate weather can have adverse effects on the desserts.

Toppers and Decorations not added by Sweet Juanjo's

Sweet Juanjo’s recommends only using non-toxic, food safe items as toppers/decorations on or near the desserts. Sweet Juanjo’s is not liable for any changes in appearance, toxicity, taste, damage, illness, bodily harm, caused by dessert toppers, fresh flowers or decorations.

Cake Supports

Cakes with two or more layers may have plastic and or wooden supports within them. It is the responsibility of the ordering party to notify guests of these supports. Sweet Juanjo’s is not liable for any injury/bodily harm caused by these cake supports.

Collaboration with Other Vendors

Sweet Juanjo’s will happily collaborate with other dessert vendors to provide a vast variety of dessert options for your special event. If set up by Sweet Juanjo’s has been selected for your event, Sweet Juanjo’s is not liable for third party vendor’s dessert appearance or allergens. Sweet Juanjo’s is not liable for any cross contamination that may occur from a third party vendor’s products.

Display Items

Sweet Juanjo’s offers display Items for rent. All display items must be returned within 2 business days following the date of the event or other agreed upon date. Failure to return the display items within two business days or by the alternative agreed upon date may result in additional fees.

In the event that a selected display item is damaged before the scheduled event, if time allows, the ordering party will be given the choice of another available item. If time does not allow, another item of similar size/style will be selected by Sweet Juanjo’s to replace the item.

Allergies

Sweet Juanjo’s Products are made in a kitchen that produces products with eggs, milk, wheat, nuts, and soy. It is the responsibility of the individual ordering the products to inform their event guests of possible allergens. Sweet Juanjo’s is not liable for any allergic reactions/ illnesses resulting from the consumption of our products.

Dispute Resolution

Any disputes or disagreements arising from these Terms and Conditions shall be resolved through mediation or arbitration in accordance with the laws of Wisconsin.
